Ubud Bali Destination Wedding – Siri & Neel
Siri & Neel wanted their wedding journey to consist of two beautiful celebrations. The first one was an intimate traditional Indian ceremony with their immediate family and closest friends in New Zealand, followed by an adventurous elopement a few months later in tropical Bali. I had the absolute pleasure of witnessing both celebrations and documenting the adventurous elopement in Bali.
Tranquility. Lush greens. 30+ degrees. 70-80% humidity. Zen vibes all around. The bridal party kicked things off with a leisurely breakfast and a long massage at the spa in the morning. Good call before starting the wedding preparations in the early afternoon.
Siri wanted her dress to have Indian roots to it. The gown was made from an Indian sari. Because the fabric was extravagant she wanted a very simple style to complement it. The crafty work of Judith Penak brought it all together into a beautiful fusion.
Lotus pond rooftop. Soft yellow and white colour palette decor. The stunning Ubud mountains in the background. The Four Seasons Resort and Spa offered the perfect ceremony setting. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Siri & Neel declared their love for each-other with emotional wedding vows.
Fairy lights and tiki torches along the river. Beautiful floating candles in the pool. The reception venue was simply magical. The cool breeze by the river was super refreshing. As the sun set the dance floor was ready for action.
What a better way to get the party going than an amazing fire dance group. Coordinated in perfect sync, they lit the night with warm fire shapes. Then Neel’s brother took the stage as the DJ for the nigh and dropped some serious beats and crowd-pleasing favourites.
Simply unforgettable experience.
